The pre-booked price was not honored. i had to pay more, a disappointing start. the room was cold, requiring the radiator on full blast. the coffee bags provided were not good at all. I'd recommend bringing your own. also, the shower door came off its runner. this needed reporting.

a decent stay with a few minor drawbacks

i had a lovely clean double room sea view. the ensuite was a good size. the tv was good quality (i always appreciate that). there was cranberry juice for a change, which i like.

i stayed for one night at the weekend. the hotel was like a sauna, the windows only open three inches. breakfast buffet table was almost empty (that was disappointing).

the room overlooked the sea and the breakfast was good with a full english.

i was given our favourite room because we are regulars, but it was not up to standard. the mugs were dirty and the shower wall was slightly mouldy. the shower door seals were disgusting and the hand wash did not work.

The staff showed great dynamism at every turn. The attention to detail they displayed impressed me greatly as I saw that nothing was too much trouble. From changing rooms to answering various questions, the staff ensured every need was met. This responsiveness contributed significantly to a relaxing stay.

The shower door seals were a little unclean I noticed upon inspection. The lack of immediate resolution was a minor inconvenience . This did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience at the hotel.
